Creating web pages is exciting, fun, and educational. During this unit we will study not only HTML code, but also learn to use a the web editor called HomePage. Before we begin, however; we will need to understand web safety and protocol. We will be creating two web pages. One about our "fictional" self and one which will be educational. Our educational page will require research, design, and writing skills.

Over the next few days, you will let your imagination run wild. You will create a fictional character, based on your school life, your likes, and what you wish you looked like. Most of the facts that you will give will be true, but the names will be changed to protect the innocent. As you study web safety, you will understand the reason for this precaution.
