Week 2
     (Superstar Elementary)  We live where it is humid.   In summer, temperatures range from  90° - 100° and in winter, temperatures range 28° - 50°.  Our rainy months are October, November, and February. We have no snow but we have ice in January and February.

      (Student Academy of Limousine Drivers) We experience the full effect of the four seasons.
The average temperatures are:
                                            winter-31 degrees
                                            spring-51 degrees
                                            summer-72 degrees
                                            fall-55 degrees

    (Super School)  We have very different weather in each of the four seasons.  We think our summer temps. range from lows o f 50s to highs in the 80s.  Our winter temps range from lows in the teens (plus some below zero) to highs in the 30s.  We get lots of snow from December to March.  Our largest rainfall occurs in the spring and the fall.

Week 3
        (Superstar Elementary)  Although it's not made in our town, Bluebell Ice Cream is made in a nearby town.  We are famous for the Messina Hof Wine Vineyard which makes wine and sends it all over the world.  We also are the home of Sanderson Farms which is a chicken processing plant.

      (Student Academy of Limousine Drivers) We are most notable for being the home of  Sarries Candies.

        (Super School)  The grocery store in our towns are Burnstad's and Piggly Wiggly.  We have many places to eat including Pizza Pit, Pizza Plaza, and Culver's.  Our banks include M&I and Amcore.  Our gas stations include Kwik Trip and Mobile.  We also have a large Harley Davidson store in our town and the Wollersheim Winery nearby.

Week 4
    (Superstar Elementary) We are famous for Aggies, Bonfires, Reveille, maroon and white, and we are in one of the twin cities.
     (Student Academy of Limousine Drivers)  Perry Como and Bobby Vinton were born here.

        (Super School)  Our town is best known for several festivals we host including a Cow Chip Throw Days on Labor Day weekend, the Wollersheim Winery Grape Stomp in early October, and Eagle Watching Days in January.  In July, many Harley Davidson riders come to our town for the annual MDA Freedom Ride to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy.  August Derleth, the writer, lived in our town and wrote about it in many of his books.

Week 5
     (Superstar Elementary)  We are about equal distance from Houston and Austin.
    The land around our town mostly flat with a few small hills.  There are no mountains.  The Brazos River runs just west of our town.
    The George Bush Presidential Library is located in our twin city.
    Ya'll (meaning you all) is our most commonly used slang word.

        (Student Academy of Limousine Drivers)
     Our town was built on hills.
            The nearest city is Pittsburgh
            Slang words:  pop (soda), buggy (cart), gumband (rubber bands), youins (you all).

        (Super School)  The Wisconsin River runs through our town.  The Baraboo Bluffs and Natural Bridge State Park are a close drive away.  Cities that are nearby include Madison,  Baraboo, and Wisconsin Dells.  Our town is one of two that blend together right along the river.

Week 6
         (Superstar Elementary)  It is fun, exciting and fantastic at our school.  We like field trips and riding on the bus. We are friends, have activities everyday and we wear uniforms.  We can learn everyday and we can be smart. Our school is special  and there are many kids. It's nice and big because it is our
school. We are special and cool because we learn.  We have fun on the
playground. Our school has special teachers. Our school is named after a
famous Texan.  Our school is only K through 2.  We have 486 children at our school. We have many bilingual classes at our school with students who speak English and Spanish.

        (Super School)  Hi!  We have 64 staff member in our school and 20 regular education classrooms.  There are about 380 kids in our school which is Pre-K through 2nd grade.  Our school is made out of bricks and is all one level (except for storage and utilities).  There are 3 main hallways for classrooms.  One is the original school and two wings have been added on because of growth.  We have a cool playground.  We use our gym for our lunchroom.  We have a computer lab in the library (IMC).
