Introduction

This project includes students within a classroom to use reading skills and knowledge to write
riddles about AR books which they have read and students from other classes within the school
will be invited to read the riddles and guess the title of the book.

Content

Each student within the primary classroom will write a riddle about their favorite AR book
giving 3-4 facts about the book. The riddles will be read by students from other classrooms
within the school to be solved. Students will use their past and current reading experiences
and library skills to solve the riddles. Answers will be returned to the primary class and
checked for accuracy.

October - May - Write and post riddles to the Internet weekly for the other classes to read and answer. Post answers to the internet weekly.

Assessment

Were the primary students able to write clues for which the other classroom students would be successful in solving the riddles.
