Each week a classroom will complete a paragraph.  The paragraph will consist of at least 4 sentences and end with a cliffhanger (unless you are the classroom that is directed to complete the story). You will send your completed paragraph to Mrs. Pany at jpany@bryanisd.org no later than 9:00 am on Friday of the week your classroom writes.  She will update it on this site to help other classrooms complete the story.

I was getting ready for school one morning, when suddenly my dog asked, "What are
you doing?"
"What did you say?" I asked.
"You heard me, what are you doing?" my dog replied.
    "Getting ready for school."
My dog looked at me. "Well, I am playing a new game.  I am in charge now.  You heard what your mom said, go brush your teeth!"
"You're not my mom!" I said.
"No, but I am telling you what your mom told you to do! "
"But how can you talk?" I asked.
My dog interrupted, "Stop the chatting and go brush your teeth so you can go to school.  You have a big math test today," he said.  "How do you know?" I asked.  "You think I don't listen to what you tell your mom? Get real!" my dog said.
"So, you can talk!"  I was very surprised.
"Yeah! You humans think that all dogs want to say is 'woof, woof'."
"So when did you learn to talk?" I asked my dog.
"Well when I was just knee high to a great dane, my mother noticed I was making sounds that did not sound like 'woof, woof' or 'bow-wow'.  She was so worried because my friends made fun of me and she did not know what that might do to my self-esteem."  "So she took me to the Canine Academy for the Advancement of Man's Best Friend and when I arrived at the academy. I saw dogs and dogs and more dogs, but these dogs were only saying "woof, woof".  The director asked me, "Is it true you can talk?"  "Yes sir," replied the dog.  "Can you help me bark like a dog?" I asked.  "The director paused for a moment and suddenly his eyes lit up.  He said, "Would you like to go to Hollywood and be in the movies?"
"I was so excited that someone thought I could do something special with my talent.  When the director asked for my name, I had to think of something that people would remember.  "I'd love to be in the movies.  My name is Ben Tin Tin.  Everyone should remember that!"
"So that is how my career in the movies began.  Remember when you first found me on the street in front of the Hollywood movie theater?  That was the day you brought me home to be in your family.  I was there watching my first movie, 'My Dog Skip'.  Did you like it?"
"Yes!  It was great, but aren't you just a little sad that now you are just an ordinary house dog?"
"Not at all.  Now we can keep each other company and have great times together as a family.  I'd much rather be with you than be in a movie."
"thank you so much for staying.  You're the best dog in the world.  I have to go to school now.  I'll miss you.  Let's keep this our little secret."
    "Okay."
