Each week a classroom will complete a paragraph.  The paragraph will consist of at least 4 sentences and end with a cliffhanger (unless you are the classroom that is directed to complete the story). You will send your completed paragraph to Mrs. Pany at jpany@bryanisd.org no later than 9:00 am on Friday of the week your classroom writes.  She will update it on this site to help other classrooms complete the story.
 
 

Benny and Tom had just finished their science project, a time machine.  They were both excited to try it out.  Benny typed in the date and pushed the start button.  Lights started flashing and BOOM....When the smoke finally cleared, they were in the year 1761.  Benny and Tom were 17 years old and were shocked by what they saw.  They saw dinosaurs, wagons, and even cave men.  Tom went over to the dinosaur and jumped on his tail.  At the same time, Benny screamed "HELP!"
    Tom jumped off the dinosaur's tail and went to help Benny.  Benny had fallen into an enormous, smelly, T-Rex footprint.  "Hold on, Benny!  I'm going to get a tree vine to pull you out!" yelled Tom.  "Hurry up! A dinosaur is coming to eat me!" Benny cried.  Tom grabbed his hunting knife and cut a tree vine.  He handed it over to Benny and pulled him out.  As they stood there, all of a sudden the ground shook.  They saw a tall shadow and heard a wild roar.  As they turned around they saw an enormous T-Rex standing behind them.  They began to scream and ran into a dark, gloomy cave.  Inside the cave were two big red eyes that seemed to be coming towards them.  Their hearts began to pound faster and faster as they looked at the T-Rex outside the cave and the two red eyes behind them.
    Tom then pulled his flashlight out and turned it on, and to his surprise he saw Godzilla.  Godzilla was holding Rudy, a feisty, mean little dog.  Rudy then bit Godzilla so hard that Godzilla almost cried.  Godzilla begins to run away and as he passes, Rudy, Tom, and Benny latch onto his tail.  Godzilla runs towards a shiny, metal object and Rudy, Tom, and Benny jump off of Godzilla's tail because they know this is their time machine.
    Suddenly, they spot T-Rex coming towards them again, so Rudy tells them to get on his back and he takes them to the time machine.  They quickly return to the year 2001.  Benny and Tom take the dog to school and sell him to Crockett 3rd grade to be the 3rd grade mascot.  They build a home for him in the Discovery Hub and Tom and Benny get an "A" on their Science project.
