Each week a classroom will
complete a paragraph. The paragraph will consist of at least 4 sentences
and end with a cliffhanger (unless you are the classroom that is directed
to complete the story). You will send your completed paragraph to Mrs.
Pany at jpany@bryanisd.org no later
than 9:00 am on Friday of the week your classroom writes. She will
update it on this site to help other classrooms complete the story.

It seemed like an ordinary pair of shoes. But when Sara put them on one day she realized there was nothing ordinary about them.
"How did you jump so high Sara?" asked Jack.
"If you can jump that high, you should be in the Olympics!" exclaimed David.
"Could you teach me how to do that?" asked Melissa. "It's not me,
it's the shoes!" Sara said with a puzzled look on her face. "I wonder
why these shoes aren't ordinary," thought Sara.
Just then something even
stranger happened. Sara was thinking how neat it would be to
fly in the air like a bird. Then to her amazement she began to rise
into the sky. Sara was sailing among the birds having a magnificent
time. She looked down at Melissa, David and Jack, who were shocked.
Then all of a sudden
she began falling to the ground. Apparently she hadn't tied her shoelaces
and her shoes had fallen off her feet. Melissa yelled, "Look out,
she's coming down!" David and Jake ran to catch her, but instead
she fell on them. While they scurried around on the grass, Melissa
put the shoes on.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
What is that noise Sara wondered as she woke from a deep sleep. Right
then she looked quickly around the room to see if the dream she had just
had was true. It wasn't, she was in her own cozy bed. But there
at the tip of her bed she spotted her new shoes. Wow, they are the
greatest.
